In anticipation of our July 1 launch of Mappica 2.0, the Mappica user manual (here) and the Mappica User Forums (here) have been created.
They won’t be fully ready until July 1 but the groundwork has been laid.

Slickr is the best screensaver I’ve ever come across. It uses my (everyone’s?) favorite photo sharing site, Flickr, for source material as a screensaver. Just pick which tags, groups, etc. and you’re ready to rock and roll.

That’s right. Every ski resort in North America is now mapped into Google Earth through Mappica. To use, just load up our network link (visit Mappica.com for details) or use the web-based search tool to find the particular resort you’re interested in.
Zoom in to any part of the mountains you’re interested in, and within a couple of seconds you will see not only the ski resorts but also any nearby Flickr photos.

This weekend we’re working VERY hard on all of Hawaii’s Golf Courses.

We’re working hard on generating some exciting content for Mappica.

High on the priority list:

• Columbia Valley information (including Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Windermere Lake, Panorama Mountain Village, and Fairmont Hot Springs).
• Kauai, Hawai’i
• Listings for all of the Western Canadian Hot Springs
• Listings for all of the major US Hot Springs
• Listings for all of the North American Ski Resorts
• Listings for all of the Ski Resorts IN THE WORLD

A daunting list for sure, but I want Mappica to be more than another boring vacation directory. There’s already too many of them. I want Mappica to be the coolest, most intuitive way to find and research your next vacation destination. Period.
