My opinion is this:

WordPress is fantastic. I’m not saying it’s the best, or that it is WAY MORE AWESOME than “blog software X” , but as a newcomer to blogging, I’ve found it the most easy to use, attractive, and powerful.

All I can say is that I STRONGLY prefer it to Blogger… it seems far more extensible and I simply love the fluid and dynamic feel of it when you post new content. Blogger seems archaic that way, click on the repost button, wait, etc.

WordPress is simply great.
